Srimate ramanujaya namaha, Srimate nighamantha maha desikaya namaha, Dear bhagavadas, My humble respects to you all.I have heard that during the period sri Koorattalwar's getting blinded (to save his Guru sri ramanuja) and upto the day of his thirunakshtram(sometime in kartikai upto thai approx.) Alwars pasurams etc.should not be recited ,except for thiruppavai in dhanur masam. And they should be started only from day of his thirunakstaram only.I request the learned members to clarify this. I also wish to know whether sri thirumalai nambi is in anyway related to sri Alavandar. Adien ramanuja dasan, Ramesh. -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
