Dear Bhagavatottamas,

namo narayana.

adiyen has been to Sri Adikesava Emberumanar Temple,a 300-year old temple in
Narsapur,AP, to attend Thirumangai Alwar Saatthu. 

While it is a govt temple and celebrates all Srivaishnava festivals as per
calendar, Ubhaya Vedanta Sabha of Pentapadu (AP) has done some kainkaryams in
this temple during Sri Nammalwar's utsavam in 1999 and Thirumangai Alwar
utsavam in 2000. 

The kanikaryams by the sabha  inlude:
 
1. Pushpa kainkaryam : entire mandapam is decorated fully with flowers and
quintals of flowers are used.

2.Pravachana Kainkaryam: discourses in telugu by eminent scholars.

3.tadIyArAdhanam: for not only Srivaishnavas but all the devotees present.

These kainkaryams are done for five days concluding on Alwar's saatthumurai.

Adiyen was there on the day of saatthumurai i.e. Dec 10th. In the morning,
Thirumanjanam was done for Adikesava perumal with ubhaya naacchiyars,
Thirumangai Alwar and emberumanar. after this Sriman Kidambi Venkatacharya
swami, sthAnAchAryar of the temple, gave a discourse on nambillai's and
pillai lokAchAryar's vaibhavam. then sri Ramanujacharya swami spoke on the
activities of the sabha.

In the night, saatthumurai was done after UrEgimpu (procession) of Sri
Adikesavar with Thayars, Thirumangai Alwar and swami emberumanar. the divya
prabandha goshti was followed by nacchiyar goshti reciting Vishnu sahasram
with Thiruvilakku in hands.

I was very lucky to be in the association of parama Bhagavatottamas (who are
also parama vaidikas) for one full day.

Perumal's sesha vastrams from the following Divya desas were presented to
Alwar:

1. Ayodhya 2. Naimisaranya 3.Mathura 4. Vrindavan 5. Thirumalai 6.
Thiruvallikkeni 7. Thiruvallur 8.Thiruvidandhai 9. Thirukkadalmallai 10.
Thiruninravur 11. thiruneermalai 12. kanchi 13. attabuyagaram 14. Paramesvara
Vinnagaram - Vaigundha Perumal 16. thiruvaali 17. Srirangam and may be from a
few other places. 

Great scholars who participated include (excluding hosts):

1. Sriman Vangala Venkatacharya swami, Narsapur, 2.Sriman Thoopurani Udayavar
swami, Vijayawada, 3. Sriman Krishnamacharya swami, Bhimavaram 4. Sriman 
 kandlakunta Seetharamacharya swami, Mahabubabad, Warangal Dist., 5. Sriman
Varada Harita Iyengar of Kanchipuram and several others.

Sri Srimannarayana Ramanuja China Jeeyar Swamivaru, Sri Ranga Ramanuja Jeeyar
swamivaru of Kakinada, Sri Ramachandra Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamivaru of
Bhimavaram, have given their mangaLASAsanams, by which the event was a grand
success.

Adiyen thanks and does namsakarams to Srimans K.G.Krishnan swami,
Anathapadmanabha swami, Thirumala Vinjamuri Venkatesa swami for the
kainkaryams they have done to the Alwar of the temple.
