Crossing the ocean etc

SrimatE rAmAnujAya nama: Dear Bhagavathas: It may be argued that crossing the ocean by plane is okay etc. But all said and done, living in a land far away from "uhandarulina nilangal" is not how a "true" Srivaishnava is expected to spend his time. Swami Pillai Lokacharyan in Dvaya Prakaranam first soothram of Mumukshupadi says "irukkum nAl uhandarunila nilanglile pravanAy gunAnubhava kainkaryangalile podu pokkuheyum,.........,vaishnavAdhikArikku avashyApEkshitham". To that extent, none of us, who live outside of any of the Divya Desams, can claim to be carrying out the true duties of a Srivaishnava.
