Hi all, Sri Sudarsana Parabrahmane: Namaha: Sri Krishna Parabrahmane: Namaha: As far as Sandhyavandhanam and counting are concerned here is another idea: Each time you do Gayatri Append and Prepend a Namam from Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam. For example the first Gayatri Mantra is associated with "Visvam" and so on. Now you exactly know when you are done with Gayatri Japam. After that you can just do it eight more times this time with Astakshari each Mantra associated with one Akshara of the Astakshari Mantra. While doing the whole Japam, if you know the meanings of the Namas in Vishnu Sahasranamam try to experience the greatest qualities of Lord Sriman Narayana. So this serves four purposes at the same time. This way even if you get lost experiencing one of the great qualities of Lord Krishna you still are not restricted by time.
