Dear followers of AchArya RaamAnuja Darsanam :

I wish to make one or two ANNOUNCEMENTS , make an APPEAL 
and COMMENT on the ongoing pleasant " SAAZHAL " between 
the devotees of Emperumaans of Srirangam  ( Mula mathra 
KshEhtram) , Kaanchipuram ( Dhvaya manthra KshEthranm )
and ThiruvEnkatam ( Sarama SlOka KshEthram ) , each of whom 
are dear to our revered AchAryA RaamAnujA .

1. ANNOUNCEMENTS 
  ***************

A. The technical work on the CD ROM Extended Demo Version 
for the Vadakalai Version of the Bhagavan RaamAnuja 
Vaibhavam is progressing rapidly at Mysore . The Story Boarding
for ThiruAraadhanam and the GranthamAlA is almost over. The SlOkAs 
and Vedic Rks as well as PrabhandhA verses have been selected for 
inclusion in the AarAdhanam and Introduction .Navigation has 
been decided .Audio recording is in progress in the studio .
The Graphic designers and the programmers have  begun their work 
to race towards the tight deadline .We will have a special section
on the temple town of Melkote, which has played a key role 
in AchArya RaamAnujA's life .

2. Last Monday ( Aadi Pooram Day ) was sacred to ANDAL .
We started pulling the Ratham of this project in honor 
of ThiruppAvai Jeeyar , AchArya RaamAnujA ( GodhAgrajar ).
I am glad to report back to you that twelve devotees have already 
contributed /pledged $2,030 so far. The Ratham is about to
enter the Western Veethi and is waiting to be pulled to Nilai.

B. APPEAL : We need to raise additional funds for this
most important project for all Sri VaishNavAs . There might be 
200 plus members on this Bhakthi list , who are deeply interestd 
in Bhagavadh RaamAnuja SiddhAntham , which draws in deeply 
from Upanishads and Divya Prabhandhams . So far 12 of the 200
plus BhakthAs have come forward to support this project .
I would like the rest of you interested in AchArya RaamAnujA 
and his illustrious contributions to our SiddhAntham to come
forward and support this project , which is the first venture 
into the new Media for all generations of Sri VaishNavAs .
I hesitate to say this : Frankly ,If this is not important ,
I do not know what is more important for us as Sri VaishNavAs !

We will prepare the Tennkalai and the Vadakalai Versions
out of our reverence for Bhagavadh RaamAnujA , PiLLai 
LokAcchAriyar/ MaNavALa Maamnui/VaanamAmalai matam 
sampradhAyam as well as Bahgavadh RaamAnujA/Swami Desikan/
Ahobila Mutt/ParakAla Mutt/Srirangam Andavan/PoundarIkapuram
Asramam SampradhAyams . Because of the forthcoming celebrations
(600th anniversary of the Founding of the Ahobila Mutt on 
September 3-5,1998 ) , we would like to demo the extended 
Vadakalai version First and follow it up with the two completed
versions for the Dallas Meeting Scheduled for Dec 24-26, 1998 .

We need 12K$ more for the whole project and $2,000 more for
the completion of the work for the September Version for 
demo . With ALL of your valued contributions , we will readily 
raise the funds needed and redeploy that to support other 
Kaimkaryams .IT IS A DIVINE KAIMKARYAM AND WE CAN NOT PAY
MORE TRIBUTE TO OUR GREATEST ACHARYA THAN CREATING THIS INFORMATIVE
CD ROM AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO ALL SRIVAISHNAVITE FAMILIES 
BOTH IN USA , INDIA AND ABROAD .Please Help .We need to
cover the immediate developmental expenses to make additional
progress . The CD ROM developers in Mysore/Bangalore are
giving their time generously and are not making any profits.

I will comment on " the Saazhal " in a companion note .
