To-day the lukshmi pooja is being performed all over the world by hindus, in
particular by konkani and maharastrians vigorously. I am not aware of this
pooja being performed in a festival cycle of the srivaishnavaa of tamil nadu .
Can anyone provide information on this pooja and clarify why some sects of
srivaishnavaa alone are following this tradition in their ritual cycle?
Is "Shraavan" the month of "Sri" and what is the thirunakshatram for "Sri" ?
Mahaavishnu's is "Sravanam" (abhijit).
