2001 Swamy Desikan Thiunakshathra Kaimkaryams at ThiruvahIndrapuram: An Update since the announcement of the kaimkaryams on Aug 21 , 2001

Dearest BhakthAs:

with Bhagavth Sankalpam and Acharya anugraham , the three Kaimkaryams
at ThiruvahIndrapuram  are about to start . Swamy Desika MukOllAsa 
Sabha of USA and GodhA PriyA Committee  of Chennai are pleased 
to announce the support of following seven BhakthAs listed below 
and invite the participation of other AchArya BhakthAs and abhimAnis 
to join in this MahA Kaimkaryam to Lord DevanAthan and His 
divine Consort , Hembhjavalli ThAyAr .

The three kaimkaryams are as follows:

1)September 28: PurattAsi SravaNam day : SamarpaNam of NAVA MANI
MAALAI made of Sapphire, Ruby, red Coral , GomEdhakam , Pearl , 
Vajram and Vaidooryam (Two kinds of diamonds), PusparAgam et  al 
for Uthsavar FROM THE SACRED HASTHAM OF SWAMY DESIKAN. A pathakkam
(pendant )may be added if there are sufficient funds raised.

2)September 28: The SamarpaNam of a necklace with three strands
of Pearls with a suitable pendant (pathakkam ) for Sri HemAbhja Valli
ThAyar also known as TARANGA MUKHA NANDINI.THIS WILL BE THE SAMARPANAM 
FROM SWAMY DESIKAN'S SACRED HANDS IN COMMEMORATION OF HIS SRI SOOKTHI,
THE MUMMANIKKOVAI.

3) Sep 28: The Blessings of the First Ruby stone for the RathnAngi. 
The blessings will come form Swamy Desikans' Pavithra Hastham 
from  His ArchA Moorthy sculpted by Him in a contest with a Silpi.
This Archaa Murhty was consecrated by His son aftr His ascent 
to Paramapadham.

It will take us from the next Maasi maham Festival day ( Feb 2002)
dear to Lord DevanAthan to the next PurattAsi SravaNam day ( Sep 2002)
to complete the RathnAngi kaimkaryam . With the generous support of 
the BhakthAs , we can race forward and complete that kaimkaryam earlier.
For now (before Sep 28 ), we sincerely hope to complete the Nava Mani
Maalai and the MummaNi Maalai Kaimkaryams and get set for the remaining
major kaimakryam with your help and support.
