43rd Azhagiya Singar's dEha sambhandam
From the Bhakti List Archives

Can Sri U. Ve.Sadagopan and other Bhagavathas please clarify this.. I remember someone having told me that the great ThirukuDandhai Andavan and the great DevanArviLAgam Azhagiyasingar were brothers-in-law in their poorvashramam, married to sisters from a family.. And has there ever been an instance where one matam/ashramam has had a successor who orgininally belonged to the other matam/ashramam but took up the responsibility for preservation of our Dharmam!? I pray God to lead me into learning more about our glorious past and I hope this mail does not stir any controversies as a side effect.
