New comer - Introduction

Namaste to everyone in this mailing list.

I am Meera Chandrasekaran, from Edison, NJ.
I was introduced to Sri Vaishnava sampradayam by marriage. 
I relocated to US immediately after that and so, I didnt get much
oppurtunity to mingle with elders who could initiate and guide me 
thro the sampradayam, rituals, scriptures, traditions. 
So, when I had any doubts or needed some insight, I come to the Internet
search engines which will almost always take me 
to the bhakti list archives. That's when I thought I should join the list
too. That way, I get a feeling that I have some 
elders (like the ones in my family) around, talking/discussing about the
sampradayam - and me by listening to you, can  grab as much good words,
ideas, and thoughts as possible - at the same time, follow them too.

My sincere thanks to the moderator of this list for giving me this
oppurtunity.
