Sri HayagrIva Jayanthi Day is August 14

Dear BhakthAs: 

Thanks to the most appreicted help of 
Sriman Sudarsan ParthasArathy and Sriman
Mani VaradarAjan , it has become clear now
that Sri HayagrIva Jayanthi should be celebrated
on August 14 , the Yajur UpAkarmA day .This is 
according to the chandramAnam tradition as 
pointed out earlier by Sri Mani Varadarajan . 

Although Sri Hayagrivan's avathAra dinam 
has to be celebrated every day with recitation of
His SthOthram and japam of His manthram , the offical
day of celebration is SrAvaNa SravaNam (Aug 14
this year ) instead of Sep 10 (AvaNI SravaNam).   

adiyEn thanks Sri Sudarsan ParthasArathy for taking
the initative to check with his AchArya Saarvabhouman,
PoundarIkapuram Andavan, Srimath GopAla Desika MahA Desikan 
directly on this matter .His Holiness has confirmed that 
(1) Sri HayagrIva Jayanthi is to be celebrated on August 14
(2) Yajur UpaakarmA is to be observed on August 14
(3) Gayathri Japam  is to be observed on August 15.

Thanks to Srimans Sudarsan , VaradarAjan and 
Vijaya Raghavan Srinivasan for their focus on
this matter to get resolution.
