[ADMIN] Some email etiquette
From the Bhakti List Archives
• April 23, 1999
Dear Members, Pardon this interruption, but despite my entreaties, several people are not heeding my email guidelines. Please read this carefully: 1) To post to the Bhakti List, you *must* configure your email program to send PLAIN TEXT only. No HTML/Web mail or other kind of encoding. If you don't understand what this means, please go to this Web page and follow the directions: http://edtvlsvc.com/asciimail.html 2) Please restrict your line length to 60 or 70 characters. This means that you should hit the "Return" or "Enter" key after every 60 or 70 characters. Please realize that there are people all over the world reading your words using a variety of computers and software. Finally, search the archives before asking a "basic" question, such as the meaning of the 'thirumaN' or the vadagalai/thengalai division. http://www.best.com/~mani/sv/bhakti/archives Thank you, Mani
