Two reasons to subscribe Sri Nrisimha Priya ($50 = 1 year, $500 = Life): [1] An interesting debate is raging between Sri Vaishnava Sudarshanam and Sri Nrisimha Priya, two Sri Vaishnava publications, on the issue of Sri (Thayar). This issue is perhaps the most important one upon which the two sects have differing opinions. For about 2 years Sri Vaishnava Sudarshanam have raised this discussion. It seems 16 questions have been put to Sri Nrisimha Priya. In response, about three months back Srimad Azhagiya Singar started a new series called Sri Thathva Deepikai in place of Srimad RTS. In this series HH is discussing issues relating to Sri in great detail. But, HH has not made an attempt to directly answer the questions raised. In a separate series, direct answers to the questions have started appearing from the current Bhahudhanya Chithrai issue. In the Chithrai issue the first question relating to the issue of Jagath KaraNathvam for Empurumaan as well as Thayar is discussed and answered. The discussion includes an analysis of the basis for the question followed by a detailed answer with relevant pramanas from a variety of sources. [2] Sri V.N. Gopala Desikan has started a new series from the current issue, on Kamba Ramayanam. Initially the series will cover Kamban's Satakopar Andhathi. Then, the series will continue with Kamba Ramayanam. Those with Tamil knowledge will enjoy these articles as well as the series on ThirukkuRaL by ThirukkuRalappan, a well written and eye-opening series on hidden meanings in ThirukkuRaL. If you are interested please make the check out to Sri Ahobila Muth, and send it to 1908 Preswood Dr., Hixson, TN 37343. Don't forget to mention in the memo field that the check is for Sri Nrisimha Priya subscription. -- adiyEn p.s. [1] Subscription includes airmail charges. [2] it may take a couple of months before you start receiving the magazine. [3] I am not familiar with how to subscribe Sri Vaishnava Sudarshanam.
