Dear Friends

On this joyous occasion of New Year, i bring you
the blessings of H.H. Srimad Andhavan of Poundarikapuram
Asramam - Paravakotai Sri Gopala Mahadesikan swami.

H.H. had taken the initiative to edit and reprint
Swami Desikan's Chilarai Rahasyangal (that has been
out of print for more than a decade now). Two months
back i received a fund raising appeal for this
project, which i posted on the bhakti forum. In response
to this appeal many of you had come forward with generous
contribution and we were able to collect close to $1600
(much more than what we aimed for!). H.H. was overjoyed
on hearing this and has blessed us all with long life
and prosperity.

Once again, i thank you all for your donations and pray
to the Divya Dampathies that we been given such opportunity
for Bhagavat-Bagavatha kainkaryam more frequently. It is
indeed heartening to see the Bhakti list evolve into not
just a forum for discussions related to Sri Vaishnavism but
an active forum for taking action to keep our Samparadayam
alive both in India and abroad.

and photo of Sri Lakshmi Hayagriyan (Aradhana Murthy at 
the Desikar Sannidhi of the Asramam). They will also receive
a complementary copy of the book after publication.
