Here is the entire paasuram:
\bt
irun^ila mannar thammai irun^aalum ettum oru naalum onRum udanE
serun^udhalOdu pOgi avaraavi manga mazhuvaaLil venRa thiRalOn
peru nilamangai mannar malar mangai naadhar pulamangai kELvar pugazhsEr
perun^ilam uNdu umizhndha peruvaayar aagiyavar nammaiyaaLvar peridhE.
\et
seru nudhal oodu pOgi = entering into battle with
irun^ila mannar thammai = those kings who ruled the earth;
irun^aalum ettum oru naalum onRum = 2x4 + 8 + 4 + 1 = 21 times
avar aavi manga mazhuvaaLil venRa = (you went around the earth)
with your hatchet and destroyed them all,
thiRalOn = great one;
perun^ila mangai mannar = pathi of boomi piraatti
malar mangai naadhar = sriyappathi
pulam mangai kELvar = napinnai's Lord
perun^ilam uNdu umizhndha naathar = the Lord who swallowed the earth
and then brought it back out
aagiyavar perithE = they are of special significance.
The first two lines are about parasuraamar's vengeful
battle against kshatriyaas in which he went around
the earth 21 times and destroyed all kshathriyaas with
his kOdaali.
