Namaskarams.

Lord Sriman Narayana appeared before Sri Gunaseela maharishi hundreds of
years ago acknowledging the Rishi's devotion and strict penance.
The rishi was doing penance on the banks of the holy river Kaveri , the
place is hence named as 'Gunaseelam', it is located 20kms from Trichy,Tamil
Nadu.
The great Rishi requested Him to stay in the form of archavatara in that
sthalam and bless all his devotees showering mental health,peace and
prosperity.

The temple is now being renovated and new maha and artha mandapams being
constructed according to the will of the Lord.
Also,a veda patasala, a home for mentally retarded/inflicted to cure them by
spiritual healing are being planned.
Sri Kanchi matam is providing its support and guidance in a great manner,
encouraging lots of devotees to donate liberally to the renovation project.
