Humble pranams to all,

i think two different subjects i.e. varnashrama dharma which is based
on classifications of castes in hindu religion … and manava, devata,
rakshasa, which may be classified as jati i.e. different, is
clubbed.. for example… sura, asura, manava, kinnera, kimpurusha,
etc.,these all are various jaatis for which there may be different
dharmas… i do not know but trying to give a logical reasonining….as
stated above, ravana and his group may be classified under group
of "asura jati" instead of "manavas". even if you take the
classification based on the character, since his actions mostly are
of rakshasa like opposing and disbelieving narayana, he can be put in
asura jati..though he was a great devotee of shiva..i doubt there may
be a dharma prescribed for raakshaas too… but i think, lord has
established all dharmas required for manavas, i.e. for us… though i
do not know… let us leave this as it may not be necessary for us to
put light on asura dharmaas… but it is a good question what dharma
they may be following…if you get anytime pls forward it to me for
knowledge sake…

to conclude, if pandits and acharya throw a light on whether first of
all ravana and his team falls under manava or Asura then i think we
can discuss on applicability of it.

with regard to your query by not taking as "such a rama" but would
like to clarify shortly after rechecking at my end once again on what
basis rama decided to put vibheeshana as a king of lanka. in the
meantime, i request members may contribute your opinion on what basis
rama has decided to promise vibheeshana that he will make as king of
lanka (may not be based on chaturvarna…as i think that is to be
clarified by pundits and acharyas or scholars).

Any deviations or misunderstandings of mine may please be corrected
without any second thought for the benefit of Self.

jai sriman narayana/GS
