Namaskaram!

I am normally resident  of Mumbai, India,now on a visit to USA  to see my daughter and son-in-law.I just became a member of this list. 

More recently I have been wondering on an aspect of our Vaishnavite traditions-as to when the demarcations between various sampradayams-srimad andavan's munithraya sampradayam, ahobila madam and other jeers, as well as thengalai and  vadagalai subsects, etc. started and the chronological events that led to these different classes.I wonder whether you have any references or pointers to these? I did go thro' Guru Paramparai briefly but I dont think i have the answers there.
