On this sacred day of Chaitra Maasam, Revati Nakshatram (67th
Thirunakshatram of Srimad Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Parakala
Maha Desikan),
I would like to do my sashTaanga danDa pranaamams to the Jeer and start
this posting with His taniyan:

"SrImannUtana ra~NganAtha yatirAdAtpAtma vidyAlayaM |
SrImannUtana laxmaNArya yatirAja samprApta turyAshramam ||
SrIvAsendra kaTAxa saMtatasudhAlaxyAtmayegAJNchitaM |
SrImannUtana vAgadhIshayaminaM bhaktAshrayAmogurUm ||
navya vAgIshayogIndra hayAsyapadasevinam |
brahmatantra svatantrAryaM bhajAmassvAtmasampadam ||"

On this day at Mysore, celebrations are going on marking the 67th
Thirunakshatram of HH. As part of today's celebrations,
the Matham performed Sri Laxmi Hayagriva Thirumanjanam, Sri Laxmi Hayagriva 
Utsavam and Bhagavan Ramanuja Utsavam. Several
bhaktas from across the globe participated in the event.

Srimad Abhinava Vageesha Parakala Swamy ascended the divine peetham
of Sri Parakala Matham in 1992. This sacred Peetham was previously
adorned by 35 eminent scholars and sages. The Peetham itself was founded
under the direct guidance of Sri Swamy Vedanta Desika. The First Jeer of the 
Matham is none other than the direct and most loving disciple of Swamy 
Desika, Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra. The Acharya Parampara
of the Sri Parakala Matham has produced numerous works and commentaries
on the entire Dravida Vedam, Sri Bhashyam, Tatva-Mukta-Kalapa and 
Sarvartha-Siddhi, Sri Hayagriva Pancharam, Gudartha dipika, etc.

Ascending such a great Peetham when the Matham's financial status was
stooping to uncharted territories, HH has been working incessantly ever
since to improve the status of the Matham. Through his sancharams,
upanyasams and working very closely with philanthrophists, HH has
drastically improved the Matham's status in a very short period of time.
With his anugraham, volunteers and bhaktas have begun to come together all 
over the world. Organizations such has Sri Vaishnava Seva Samithi
(SVSS) has been working for the betterment of the Matham under the direct 
instructions of the Jeer in Matham related matters.

As a direct result of his tireless efforts, the Matham was able to
successfully complete the construction of the "Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva
Samudaaya Bhavanam". The project costed about 75 lakhs. The Bhavanam
features a Kalyana Mandapam and a place for continuing Vedic Studies
and Matham Kaimkaryams to Lord Laxmi Hayagriva.

HH himself, was in a very good administrative position in his
poorvaashramam and is a disciple of the great 33rd Jeer of the Parakala
Matham, Srimad Abhinava Ranganatha Brahmatantra Parakala Maha Desikan.
HH has mastery over both the Vedantas and is a "mantrasiddha mahaa
purusha"! It is our good fortune to celebrate the 67th Thirunakshatram
of HH. On this sacred day, I am making a call for all the bhaktas and
shishyas of the Matham spread all over the globe to come together and
join forces. Our Acharyas have showered their limitless anugraham on us
mortal souls and have shown us a path of Moksha. Let us keep our end
of the promise up.

We need to take up and conduct tasks that are "anukulam" to the Lord,
the one He Likes. The most important of them all is "acharya-
shushruusha". We need to follow the instructions of our acharyas. When
HH is working so hard tirelessly, day and night, automatically, it
becomes our sole responsibility to do the same!

Let us all participate in the current celebrations and make them a grand 
success! We have about 13 sponsors for the current celebrations at
Mysore. We need atleast 7 more sponsoring $108 each!
Annadaanam will be performed on their behalf during the next 7 days.
It is my humble request to all the bhaktas to come forward and donate
generously! All the bhaktas who have sponsored the events will be duly
recognized by the Matham. Let us now wait any more!
