Dear BhagavathAs :

On update for you on the eve of Sri Raama Navami 
on the status of the project :

A.FUND RAISING
***************

**** 35 BhagavathAs have pledged sofar a total
     of $4,050 . Some of you have sent the 
     pledged funds to me or to India in Rupees.
     I will be transmitting the funds sent to me
     to India to cover the expenses of both the 
     Kaimkaryms underway.

**** We have another $ 1,450 to raise to meet 
     the target figure of $5,500. Please come forward
     and pledge the remaining 26% left to reach
     the target . Thank you in advance .

     KulasEkarar , Madhura Kavi, ThiruppANar ,BhUtham ,
     pEy , Thirumazhisai and NammAzhwAr .
   
   * The three AzhwArs needing links are: PeriyAzhwAr ,
     ThoNdaradippodi and Poygai AzhwArs.Please "adopt"
     them .

DHIVYA DESAMS OPTED

**** Among the 108 dhivya dEsams sung by the 12 AzhwArs ,
     NINE  (ThiruviNNagar, ThiruvEnakatam, ThiruvallikkENi ,
     Ashtabhujam , NaimisAraNyam , Thirukkadigai ,
     Srirangam , Tanjai MaamaNikkOil & Thirukkudanthai )
     have been spoken for as links by the 9 sponsors.

   * Thus 35 bhagavathAs have chosen 9 dhivya dEsams only
     so far. I request the rest of the 26 BhagavathAs
     to choose your favorite dhivya desam(s) for links 
     in the sponsorship section of the CD ROM. All of You 
     can choose more than one Dhivya dEsams .The ultimate
     goal is to have links to every one of the 108 dhivya 
     dEsams .

AZHWARS' OWN LEANINGS!

PLEASE REMEMBER THE SAME SRIMAN NAARAAYANAN 
GAVE DARSANAM TO THE 12 AZHWAARS AT EACH ONE

THE HIMAALAYAAS OR AT THE TIP OF THE SUB-CONTINENT .

     * 21 dhivya desams have been sung by 
       TWO AZHWARS

     * 67 dhivya dEsams have been sung by
       ONE AZHWAR ( THIRUMNGAI ).

AGAIN PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE NUMBER OF
PAASURAMS IS NOT AN EXACT INDICATOR OF THE DEPTH OF 
LOVE OF THE AZHWAARS HAD FOR ANY ONE DHIVYA DESAM:

*** Thiruvarangam  and Thiruvenaktam (Over 200 Paasurams)

*** ThirukkaNNapuram, ThirunaRayUr and
    ThirumAlirumchOlai ( betwen 100 and 200 Paasurams)

*** 49 dhivya dEsams ( between 11-100 paasurams)

*** 24 dhivya dEsams ( TEN paasurams)

*** 15 dhivya dEsams (2 to 9 pasurams)

*** 15 dhivya dEsams( ONE Paasuram ).

THE NUMBER OF DHIVYA DESAMS SUNG BY EACH AZHWAAR

IT IS ALL A JIGSAW PUZZLE FOR US TO SOLVE AS GAMES
AND QUIZZES IN THE FUN SECTION OF THE CD ROM .

THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE 108 DHIVYA DESAMS ACROSS INDIA

ChOLa Naadu (40), Paandya Naadu (18), MalayALa desams(13),
Nadu Naadu (2), ThoNDai Mandalam (22),Northern Region(12),
Thiru Naadu (1).

We plan to have the map of India with locations
of the 106 dhivya desams . The remaining two are
not reachable by human beings during their earthly
existence. Travel directions wil be given . The images
of the PerumAL , ThAyAr will be included along with
pictures of uthsavam in still and video images.

THE HEART OF THE CD ROM WILL BE THE LIVES AND
PRABHANDHAMS OF AZHWAARS .

AS WE DESIGN THE CONTENT , WE ARE LOOKING FOR SUGGSTIONS.
PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT FEATURES YOU WISH TO BE COVERED
SO THAT WE CAN INCLUDE IT IN OUR PLANS .

PLEASE HELP TO CLOSE THE GAP OF $ 1,450 THRU 
INDIVIDUAL PLEDGES AS A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO
AZHWAARS AND THE DHIVYA DESAMS THAT THEY SUNG ABOUT 
ON THIS SACRED RAAMA NAVAMI DAY EVE .THIS IS INDEED
THE  FIRST RAAM NAVAMI FOR THIS  MILLENIUM .
