self-realization/`vision' of the self

Mani, thanks for the description of waking/dream/deep-sleep. While we
are on this subject, I want to ask a related question. I want to
know about the self-realization/vision-of-the-self that is spoken of
by Yaamuna in his gitArthasangraha and by Ramanuja in his gita-bhasya.

I am looking for a description of this state *in terms of* the following
categories which are well-defined in our philosophy.

1. The jiva, with its svarupa-jnana
2. The jiva's dharma-bhuta-jnana
3. mind (which encompasses chitta/ahankara/buddhi?)
4. Indriyas
5. The gross body
6. External world
7. Isvara

Please add other categories which are necessary. I hope my question is
clear -- I am looking for an objective description, as opposed to
a `subjective description' of how a person who has had the `vision of
the self' behaves and so on. In particular I am wondering if this
state is just another avastha of the mind. (although a special one.)

Sri Krishna Kalale very kindly enlightened me about the categories above
and also elaborated on a `subjective description'.

thanks
Kasturi

I think I have asked too many questions in the last few days. With this
one, I will consider my quota exhausted for the time being. :-)
