Hello all,

I have just created a mail alias on my machine called "bhakti", 
which forwards mail to a few people who I think are interested
in discussing items relevant to Sri Vaishnavism, Alvars, and our 
Acharyas.  To send mail to all the people on the list, just
address your note to bhakti@sparkle.stanford.edu.

Currently, 5 people are on the list. I'll list each of you below,
but I think it would be nice if each of you could send a short
note out on the list introducing yourselves to each other.

I was wondering what to name the alias; given our religious
tradition, maybe "prapatti" would have been a better name?
