Dear pradeep,
Adiyen absolutely accepts what you say. The purpose of my mail was not to contradict your view. Without any doubt Nama sankeertanam is for all. For someone with less talents, ego is less and hence leaving his shyness is easier but for someone with higher talents he will surely feel shy to do a thing which he thinks is inferior to his status. So when adiyen said the sloka referred to EVEN the haughty brahmins, it means that there is no exclusion.
In geetha, bhagavan says that women and sudras can easily attain his feet doing just their duty and namakeertanam but this doesnt in anyway convey that nama sankeertanam is not for brahmins or men of first three varnas. When even a highly talented person has to do nAma keertanam and when even a less qualified person gets the same result due to nAma keertanam then where is the barrier to stop each one of us from doing Hari nAma sankeertanam.

agreed that in olden days, some brahmins were haughty and they
thought that mere bhagavan-naama in comparison to the vedas was
inferior.

But if the idea(basis) of this slokam was to mean "visrujya lajjyam"
(leave your shyness) then it seems to interpret as if this was meant
only for those haughty brahmins. but its not like that.

This is meant for anyone and everyone, whether he has read the vedas
or not. Whether its a man or woman, whether its a child or a old man,
whether its a king or pauper. Also for those who have committed sins
and think they have no hope at all.
