Dear AchArya RaamAnuja BhakthAs :

On Sep 12 , the day after Sri Jayanthi , AchArya RaamAnuja
accepted the humble SamarpaNam of 5 soverign gold-leaf-clad
ThridhaNDam from a group of BhakthAs from USA , Singapore
and India. The construction of this AbharaNam was completed
in October 2000 and yet had to wait until Sep 12 , 2001
due to some unavoidable circumstances. On this blessed day of
September 12 , 2001 the Moolavar accepted the AabharaNam
presented to Him by His dear devotees. At this sannidhi of
RaamAnujA at SriperumbhUthuR known for its "Tamar Uhantha ThiurmEni" ,
the ThridhaNDam shines now and from here on it will
adorn the hands of the Uthsavar , when His Archai
goes on procession outside the temple during His
uthsavams.

AdiyEn is told that the Moolavar /Uthsavar(?) ArchaI has Diamond
as well as pearl bedecked ThridhaNDams , which are used on
special occasions. AdiyEn also understands that the old
ThirdhaNDam of AchArya RaamAnujA exists still at SriperumbhUthur.
BhakthAs familiar with SriperumbhUdhur traditions can comment
further on these points.

AdiyEn visited AchArya RaamAnujA's sannidhi during
Feb 8, 2001 after my Prapatthi at the Sacred Thiruvadi of
HH The NaarAyaNa YathIndhra MahA Desikan . At that time,
the sannidhi archakar , Sri SampathkumAra Bhattar mentioned
that the ThridhaNDam resting then on the hands of Moolavar needed
urgent repair and suggested that a new ThridhaNDam be created
and presented to our ParamAchAryan to replace the one in use.
adiyEn took it as a command from AchArya RaamAnujar and on
return to States announced the kaimkaryam and recieved
the immediate support from number of bhakthAs . By Oct 2000.
The AabharaNam was completed and yet had to wait until
September 12 , 2001 (almost an year) prior to the acceptance
of our SamarpaNam due to some unavoidable complications.

The day of September 12 , 2001 was ThiruvAdirai ,
the Janma nakshathram day of September. AchAryA RaamAnujA
incarnated on a ThiruvAdhirai day at SriperumbhUthUr.
Every ThiruvAdhirai AchArya RaamAnujA's archai recieves
an elaborate Thirumanjanam ( many pots of Milk , Honey
et al). On this day of Sep12, 2001 close to 300 BhakthAs
had assembled to enjoy the Thirumanjanam for AchArya
RaamAnujA . The ThridhaNDham that had been consecrated
earlier through a Homam rested on the lap of AchAryan
and took part in the Thirumanjanam as well. After special
alankAram and TaLigai for the AchAryan , the ThridhaNDam
joined the right hand of Moolavar to take its permanent
residence . There it shines today like the cool rays of
the Full Moon and guides us to His sannidhi.

It is our BhAgyam to have presented this AabharaNam for
YathirAjAr ,who has every Isvaryam as Udayavar. During
Feb 2000 , this special group of BhakthAs had presented
the Golden SatarI to AchArya RaamAnujA at His Sannidhi
in ThirunArAyaNapuram ( ThAmm Uhantha ThirumEni).

During Sep 12, 2001 , the ThridhaNDam has been presented to
"Tamar Uhantha ThirumEni". The SatAri and ThridhaNDam is known
in our SampradhAyaam as Mudali AaNDAn . KurEsar is known
as the pavithram of AchArya RaamAnujar. Perhaps we will
have the BhAgyam of presenting such a Pavithram to
" ThAnEaana ThirumEni " at Srirangam in the year 2003
with our ParamAchAryan's anugraham !

adiyEn also requests the recommendation from Sri Thirumnajanam
SundararAjan Swamy of Srirangam for alternate suggestions
for samarpaNams to "ThAnEaana ThirumEni" based on his clear
awareness of and familiarity with the traditons of Srirangam
Temple in genral and AchArya RaamAnujA's sannidhi there .
