Dear Bhagavatas
Kindly refer to "Part 3 - SWAMI CHALLENGES! An Introductory Note" - posted on

You may read that to appreciate this posting in the proper perspective.

A Correction to Posting 3.14

Paragraph 4 reads as
" When *Statham* turned the fetus in the womb of Utharai into a log of
charcoal, (as 'pAnDava pakshapAdhi'), you dispatched your Chakrayudham to
protect the fetus, which subsequently bloomed at birth as Prince Pareekshith."
The word "AswathAma" may be substituted for the word "Statham".

Meaning

"Oh! aDiyavarkku meyyanE!
The multitude of sins I commit on a single day is such that if I were to go
through the consequences, it might take several lives. Thus, I am eminently
suited to receive your mercy.

What is the use of granting your grace on those who have done lot of 'puNyam'?
Your grace can have any meaning at all and show its full force ONLY if it can
be applied to me - the greatest sinner of all mankind for all time!.

So, if you want to make your mercy meaningful, there is no better way than to
make it flow incessantly towards me"

Comment

SwAmi expresses similar sentiments when he says -
" anubhavithum aghowkam analam AgAmikAlah:"
meaning- whatever future there is for me will not be sufficient to wipe off
the results of the multitude of my sins. Here, SwAmi says that the quantum of
his sins committed in one single day is more than what his entire future
would be able to neutralize!"
