and "SAtvika AhamkAram"
(as gleaned from his StOtras)
Part 4. SAtvika AhamkAram
============================================================
Dear Bhagavatas
Your kind attention is invited to the Introduction to this Part posted on
21st November 99 to appreciate this posting better and in the proper
perspective.
(Anbil Ramaswamy)

SAtvika AhamkAram 4.06:
"I AM TELLING ONLY THE TRUTH,
THE WHOLE TRUTH AND
NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH"
===========================================================
anavadhim adhikrithya sreenivAsa anukampAm
avithatha vishayatvAdh viswam avreeDayanthi /
vividha kusala neevi vEnkaTEsa prasoothA
sthuthir iyam anavadhyA sObhathE saththva bhAjam //
DayA Sathakam SlOkam 105)

Meaning
" Lord Srinivasa's compassion is infinite.
This StOtra speaks about this only.

The facts mentioned herein are 100% true.
I am telling only the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

This is because it emerged from TiruvEnkaTamuDaiyAn Himself and
published through vEnkaTEsan, i.e. myself.

· No one need entertain any doubt about this.
· The compassion that is being glorified need not feel that there is any
hyperbole involved.
· The author also does not have to feel ashamed about it.
· And, those who read or listen to this need not think that they are reading
or listening to anything that is false.

This StOtra will confer all blessings on those who recite because it is
blemishless either in words employed or meanings implied.

This will certainly be enjoyed by all truly great souls who are endowed with
Sattva guNa."

Comment
In the previous SlOka, SwAmi emphatically avers that since it was the Lord
Himself who had authored the StOtra making the SwAmi just a mouthpiece, the
Lord will silence the mean minded critics who may gleefully seek to indulge
in finding fault.

"Poor guys", SwAmi seems to say "they do so because they lack "Sattva guNa" -
a certain level of development and spiritual evolution needed to appreciate
such a noble work"

He swears that not a syllable in this StOtra is untrue.
It, however, need a certain spiritual insight for anyone to enjoy the
greatness of this StOtra.

"CONSIDER MY WORK, MY SUBJECT AND MYSELF.
CAN ANYONE DARE SAY THAT THERE IS ANYTHING FALSE?"
