thiru adhyayana uthsavam part 4 - padaikkum thanmai anaitthum theertthAN !

Dear bAgawathAs,

padaitthAn than thannaiyE anRu
thigaitthan than padippaiyE kaNdu
thAn azhgai padaikkum thaNmaiyE
anaitthum theertthan pOlum anRE !

Prior to going in details of adhyayana uthsavam, adiyEN's mind
is still clipped on the beauty of Lord Sri Ranganatha, the
moolavar.

Simple meaning of my poem:

Lord Sriman nArAyaNA created HIMself on that day as a boon for
the request of Sri BrahmA. Atonce after creating HIS own image,
HE was HIMself amazed and astonished to see the thiru uruvam of
Sri Arangan. He then feared if HE had exhausted HIS entire
capacity to creat "beauty" for ever !! (anaitthum theertthAn
pOlum arnRE !! ie., Lord Ranganatha was so beautiful such that
the meaning for the word beauty had to be interpreted as Sri
Ranganatha and only Sri Ranganatha. "pEr Alavukkum kooda
azhagu engumE illai". ie., even for a name sake one cannot even
find an iota of beauty anywhere else. The entire beauty was
contained in Sri Ranganatha, it seems. No wonder, Sri ANDAL
wanted to marry only HIM.

SriranganthAn is so beautiful such that one can enjoy the
sameebyam of Sriman nArAyaNA in Srivaikundam and enjoy all the
anubavams of Sri vaikundam in this Srirangam itself. Hence it is
called "boolOga vaikundam". Sri thoNdar adip podi AzhwAr
delivered "icchuvai thavira yAn pOy inthira lokam Alum acchuvai
peRinum vENdEn (*)"

As similar to "na chyAvathi ichyachyutha", those who are trapped
in this beauty of Sri Rangarajan, HE will never let them go away
from HIM for want of anything (**).

Sriranga divya dEsam is the root and causes of all cuases. ie.,
As similar to the root of the banyan tree this Sriranga dEsam is
there and all the other divya dEsam is the branches of such tree.
SriRanganAthan is the cause of all these causes. He is the "vEr"
or root of this vrkusham of 105 the other divya dEsams in arcchA
form.

(*) See archives for some meanings for this pAsuram. If adiyEn
has to write meanings for this one single pasuram it will take
more than 100 pages to write. So adiyEN is differing to write
any meaning on this line for now, and request bAgawathALs to
follow the flow simply.

(**) It is tradition that almost every AzhwAr, AchAryA and
bAgawathA fell for Sri RanganAthA's vaseegaram. It was jovially
commented by an ardent Srinivasa perumAL bAgawatha that adiyEn
was hijacked for pomona Lord SriRanganAtha. One other prapanna
immediately commented jovially that it is the tradition of
Lord Sri Ranganatha to "steal away" all the AzhwArs, AchAryAs,
bAgawathALS all for himself from other perumALs. And that it has
been fact that all the sEvArtthis end up in masses for Sri
Ranganatha from all other divya dEsams. Isn't it very true that
"engu suRRinum ranganaiyE vanthu sEr" ?
