Dearest BhAgavatOttamALs, Let us pay our respects to our BhoodatthAzhwAr whose thirunakshathram is today. The thanian of Thirukkurugai pirAn declares what we wish to do for this AzhwAr. En piRavi theera iRainjinEn innamudha/ anbE thagaLi aLiththAnai- Nun pugazh sEr/ seedathAr muthukkaL sErum kadan mallai/ bhoodatthAr ponnan kazhal Meaning: To get rid of samsara, it is he who gave us the insatiable nectar "anbE thagaLiyA" pAsuram, the one, who is known for his wisdom (para GnAnam).
