SWAMI PILLAI LOKACHARYA THIRUNAKSHATHIRAM

'thanimayilE inimai kANa mudiyumA?
In this occasion I would like to share a Sree Vachana Bhooshana Suthram with all of you.

Suthram 255:Text
" allAdhavargaLaip pOlE kEtkiRavargaLudaiyavum, sollugiRavargaLudaiyavum, thanimaiyai thavirkaiyai anRikkE,"ALum ALAr"
engiRavanudaiya, thanimayai thavirkavAgaVAithu, bhAshyakArarum ivarum upadEsippadhu"

NEED FOR GROUPS? MUTUAL INTERACTION? KOODIYIRUNDHU KULIRDHAL.

Why are we interacting with one another? Why do we share our thoughts through these groups?
We want to exchange ideas.. We want to enjoy along with bhagwad/bhAgawadha ghosti. We want to 'Koodiyirundhu kulirdhal"
Otherwise, we feel, alone, aloof and isolated.
Why do learned people educate others? Why do they give lectures?
They also want to enjoy the Lord and his Qaulities mutually with others.
'bodhayandha parasparam'
People who listen to lectures of erudite class were astray and by these actiivities their isolation is removed.
Thus , it is logical and obvious to conclude that we all want to remove our loneliness among us.
In this process, we are oblivious of God s loneliness.

Then is there anybody who have thought about Lord s loneliness? Has anybody indulged in above activities like giving lectures as an advice( parObhadEsam) with a view to removing Lord s loneliness in contrast to remove our loneliness?
Yes.MangalAsAsana pararAna periyAzhwAr and emberumAnAr have done this.

PeriyAzhwAR, whose foremost thought is regarding God s safety and welfare always singing pallAndu and doing upadEsam to remove the lord s thanimai.
In nithya vibhOdhi "nithya sOrigaL are engrossed in bhagwad guNAnubhawam; in lEla vibhOdhi, samsArigal are involved in sapthAdhi vishayangal- materialistic aspects/sensory organs. Hence, in both the worlds, nobody is actually thinking about Lords thanimai- loneliness.
periyAzhwAr, on observing the lord s soft thirumEni, out of overpowering affection towards Him, is worried and does mangaLA sAsanam, with an intention of removing lord s thanimai.
"vAzhatpattu ninrEr vullErEal , vandhu mannum manamum konmiN"
'kOdu manam udaiyErgal vandhu ollai kOduminO' are some of the verses where AzhwAr calls upon various class of people for thiruppallAndu.
Summary : Unlike others, who strive for removing their loneliness, periyAzhwar and bhAshyakArar strive to remove the loneliness of the Lord.
The term bhAshyakArar is used here instead of emberumAnAr to highlight the fact that udayavar achieved this goal by authoring Sree bhAshyam.
Thus, this soothram indicates the sub-stratum of our basic nature for interaction and ongoing exchange of ideas.
