thoo nilA muRRam - part 16 - "ennum iRaNdum nal sErum vELai"

Dear bAgawathAs,

Having grown up in this beautiful place known as thiru kudanthai
adiyEn will put my feelings in my little tamil words as follows so
that the gentle breeze that takes a morning dip in the kauveri and
touches (worships) Sri Amudhan's holy feet comes to each one's
desktop through these "anubavath thuLigaL".

"pacchai payir parappu
oR pattu metthai virippu
Icchaikku yuir surakkum
sEr koottai thatthai maRakkum

mannukkum Or mElAdai
ponni veLLamE Odum
manakkum pAr malligai
kaNNi uLLamE nAdum

aRputham Ayidum engum
soRpatham pOy itham thangum
kAnum kAttchi ellAm
kaRpanaiyai thooNdum

kaNNum karanthum kaL oorum sOlai
ennum iRaNdum nal sERum vELai
thennam keeRRum thenRal kARRum
sErnthu pAdum amutha gAnam"

Meaning:

The paddy field that is spread all over
It is (like) a silk bed spread all over
For my pleasure, even my soul springs up
Seeing all these even the "pupA" will forget its shell
(ie., it comes out its shell to be a colorful butterfly)

The earth has a scarf or a saree now
The flooding water in kAuveri runs across (like a munthAnai for kuda
    mookku).
The fragrance of jasmine makes the entire world to become scented
(this flower is being grown in the banks of kauveri solely for
     the purpose of adorning amuthan)
Such malligai flower is always sought by the beautiful women.

Look everywhere it is always wonderful
Even my words will prefer to loose its grammar
but gain some tender feeling (due to all these nature)
What ever scenario I am seeing they all are
     inducing my imaginations

Even the calf will yield milk in this place, and the mind is yielded
and the mind is yielded like an arrack (a type of raw
alchohol) that is dripping in these gardens.
This is the most auspicious time when ennum (ettu ezhutthukku
uriyavanum ie.,ArA amuthanum) iRanDum (iRandu pathangaLukku (ie.,
dwayam) uRiyavaL ie., kOmaLa valliyum) join with each other.
The branches of the coconut tree joined hands with the southern wind
both and are singing in praise of amuthan.

Sri kOmaLa vaLLi thAyAr samEtha Sri ArA amudhan thiruvadikaLE
