"Part 4" - Ayira vAy pada mookkin pAmbaNai
Dear bAgawathAs,

AdisEshan is believed to have 1000 heads and 1000 mouths. In
tamil Ayiram means 1000. It is said that Sri AdisEshAn is all happy
and is tall and erect with al his 1000 heads. This is possible only
due to the sambandham with "engaL perumAL" Sri ArA amudhan of thiru
kudanthai. It is "engaL perumAL's sparisam" or contact that makes Sri
Adi sEshan stand tall and proud with his "padam". His 1000 noses are
also displayed in a beautiful way due to this sambandham with the
"engaL perumAL". Having spent all our time immersing in the beauty of
Sri ArA amudhan, when we see Sri Anantha AzhwAn in this sannithi, he
also appears as if we can worship him while he is doing this
kainkaryam to "engaL perumAL" Sri ArA amudhan.

Sri PV pillai in his collective nirvAham delivers that "Our
Lord stood in thiru atthi yoor to become "em pirAn". But HE is to
lying down in thiru kudanthai on Sri Anatha AzhwAn by displaying his paratthva sowlabyams (sengan etc.,) and as well HIS thiru mEni azhagu or the beauty of HIS thiru mEni. HE is doing all these simply to attain us.

HE wants to attain us by weeding the jivA kOdis of the roots and the
seed of samsAram. We will be uprooted of the samsAric bondage and
that is the main reason "engaL perumAL" Sri Amudhan has come here
for. Sri PV Pillai further adds that our Lord is adament that HE will
not get up from HIS 1000 headed serpent bed untill HE rids us of the
samsAric roots. With such a resolve HE descended down to thiru
kudanthai and spread out HIS bed and is lying down here waiting for
helping each one of us.

Sri kOmaLa vaLLi thAyAr samEtha Sri ArAamudhan thiruvadikaLE saraNam
