Was SrivaishNavism spread by only Iyers?

Dear Sri Narayan,

I tend to give a very crude reply to the questions of your "Iyer
Friend".

It at all it is true that RAmAnujar was an iyer and so are other
AzhwArs, why should they make a philosophy that Sriman NArAyaNan is
THE "PARATHATTUVAM". They should have only said the He is the top
most servant of SivA and likewise. These arguments are really
baseless.

Take the case of Thirumazhisai AzhwAr who even won a battle with SivA
when the latter asked the former to request for a boon and the former
refused to do so.

If you read thro' the works of any of these AzhwArs and AchAryAs,
none of them sing about SivA as Supreme. In fact in NAnmugan
ThiruvandhAdhi, Thirumazhisai AzhwAr says,

" NAnmuganai NArAyaNan paDaitthAN, NAnmuganum thAn mugamAi
Sankaranaith thAn paDaitthan ....". In fact this AzhwAr even
practised Saivam and all other religions. None of the other Azhwars
did so?

So please discount all those arguments are baseless and foolish.
However more learned scholars in the group will be giving you a more
convincing reply

Sorry for digressing so harsh
