upekshaa na kasyaapi yasya svaruupe
iti pratyayo naasti muuDhasya chitte |
puraaNaani ya.n vishvapaala.n vadanti
sa nopekshate raamachandraH svabhaktam.h || 34||

upekshaa kadaa raamaruupii asenaa .  
jivaa maanavaa nishchayo to vasenaa ..  
shirii bhaara vaahena bole puraaNii .  
nupekshii kadaa raama daasaabhimaanii .. 34..

raamaruupii = Rama's nature
asenaa = is not
jivaa = individual
maanavaa = human
nishchayo = determination
to = that
vasenaa = not possess
shirii = on the head
bhaara = weight
vaahena = carry
bole = say
puraaNii = mythology
nupekshii = neglect
kadaa = ever
raama = Rama
daasaabhimaanii = proud of devotees

Never shall Rama's nature let you down,
But alas! creatures wait not for the trust to be born;
His promise He fulfilled, on His head did He carry earth's burden;
Such is Rama, proud of His devotees, never forsaken.. 34..
