Re: liberation

 Dear Sriman Shruti,
As per Sriman Ramanuja, the "jivana mukti" concept is untenable. The Jivatma as long as embodied in the mortal coil (prAkruta sharIra) will not able to attain a fully liberated state. This is true irrespective of the level of knowledge & devotion an individual may possess.
As per Sriman Ramanuja, the jIvAtma will be bound by prakruti/karmA as long as it is associated with the mortail coil.

Kindly address this question.

I believe I have read in a number of places that according to Sri Ramanuja's
doctrine jivana-mukti (embodied or "living" liberation) is an untenable
doctrine, that only videha-mukti is plausible.

Is this the accepted conclusion?

I thank you in advance,

Jagadish Dasa
