This is the first issue of Volume 2 of the Journal. In this Issue: 1. SRIBHASHYAMRUTHAM: We completed the summary of the 35 Adhikaranams of Adhyayam 1 of Sri Bhashyam in Volume 1 Issues 3 to 8/ Messages 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 12). We now present the summary of the Adhikaranams of Adhyayam 2 of Sri Bhashyam - Paadam 1 (36 to 45). Those of Paadams 2, 3 and 4 of 2nd Adhyayam as also those of Adhyayams 3 and 4 will follow. 2. GITAMRUTHAM: We completed the summary of the entire Bhagavad Gita as also those of the 3 Shadgams of Bhagavad Gita as per Aalavandaar’s and Swami Desika’s “Gitaartha Sangraham” in Volume 1 (Issues 13,14 and 15/ Messages 34,47 and 66). Now, we present an Introduction bringing out the greatness of the Vedas, Mahaabhaaratha, Bhagavad Gita and Ramanuja Bhashyam. This will be followed by summary of the individual Chapters as per Aalavandaar and Swami Desika’s “Gitaartha Sangraham” and also the greatness of each Chapter as stated in Padmottara Puraana. All these are based on “Gitaasaaram” by Vaikuntavasi U. Ve. Vidwan Saarasaarjna Tirukkallam Narasimha raghava chariar Swami. 3.HOMAGE TO SRINIDHI SWAMI: By way of homage to Vaikuntavasi Sribhashya Simhasanam Vidwan Villur Nadadur Aasukavi Saarvabhouma SRINIDHI Swami, we present his article entitled “The Bull and the Crow” (from Swami Desika 7th Centenary Commemoration Volume) 4. HOMAGE TO SRI SEVA SWAMI: By way of homage to Desika Bhakta Ratnam, U. Ve. Seva Srinivasa Raghavachariar Swami, we commence the series on Sampradaya lessons for kids (Learn our tradition the easy way) – for Grade 2 with Lessson 1 “Thanian”. You will remember that a series of 20 lessons for Grade 1 was published partly (lessons 1 to 7) in “SaraNAgathi” Journal and (Lessons 8 to 20) in “Sri Ranga Sri” (Issues 3 to 15 /Messages 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 34, 47 and 66) 5.HOMAGE TO MUKKUR SWAMI: By way of homage to Salakshana Ghanapaadi Nrisimha upaasaka U.Ve. Mukkur Lakshmi Narasimhachariar Swami of Mattappalli, we present a tribute from his favorite “maanaseeka sishyan”, Sri M.K. Sudarsan of Kuwait.
