Dear Shree Jagannathan Venkatanathan,

The "cobra worship" that you have mentioned is NOT at all a 
Vaishnava practice. Further, cobra do not drink milk that is
poured into their pits!

especially on Fridays.

Is it a real Vasihnavic pratice?
