>prahlAda rakshaNa adyuktam:-  One who has vowed to protect the Prince of the
>asurAs - PrahlAda, as a fruit of his prayers and austerities.

>yadruccha nrharim tada:-	One who patiently bore the photo finish suspense of
>the verbal duel between father and son:
>Father:	"There is no God!"
>Son:	"He is everywhere!"
>Father:	"Then why isn't He in this pillar?"
>Son:	"But He is there!"
>and at this moment the caged lion burst forth from the pillar, in a man-lion
>blended incarnation, to vent His love towards PrahlAda and fury towards
>Hiranyakasipu simultaneously.

>stambha avatIrNam:-	One who chose to appear without distinction in the house
>of an emperor, a Brahmana, jail and even a pillar.

>Satrughnam:-	One who crushed every vestige of life from the body of Hiranyan,
>the enemy of the devotee PrahlAda by tearing his chest to shreds

>dayAsAgaram:-	The ocean of mercy Nrsimhan, who along with the all powerful
>Lakshmi blessed PrahlAda with cool, merciful glances. 
>AshrayE  :-	I take shelter of such a Lakshmi Nrsimhan.
