chuukavii = escape
yerajhaaraa = repeated cycles of birth-death

kaamanaa = lust
soDi = give up
dravyadaaraa = others' wealth and wives

yaatanaa = pain
thora = great
garbhavaasii = life in the womb
manaa = oh, mind
sajjanaa = saints
bheTavii = bring to meet
raaghavaasii = to Rama

Oh Mind! these wearisome journeys escape,
O dear Mind! let go the passions for lust and wealth;
Oh Mind! great is the torment of a life in the womb;
O Mind! make me embrace Rama and the saints!            .. 21..
