It is interesting to note that under King Kulashekara - essentially Kulashekara Alwar - the Chera Kingdom took the state of Kerala to it's Golden Era, heralding one of the glorious epochs in the Malayalam language as well as extensive trade contacts with China, Europe and Arabia.
