Varutham os Lord Narashinga

Dear Learned members,
In 6th paasuram of Pallandu by Periyazwar, he says Pandhanai theera pallandhu. I read somwhere that Pandhanai means Varuttham. If so what is the varuttham of Lord Narashima after killing Hiranyakashibu?
