Dear Shri bhagavathas,

I've a doubt. I've heard the following, but im not sure if it is
documented. sukar is supposed to be the son of vyasa. & he tells mahabharta
to parikshit.(I believe this is how the bharatham i've read starts.) During
one of the upanyasams i've heard the following conversation between janaka
maharaja & sukar.

Janaka: what did you see on the way to the palace?
sukar: I saw some sugar dolls going around(he is refering to us humans)

Janaka: What did you see in the market?
sukar: I saw someother sugar dolls buying & selling sugar things.

Janaka: What is happening now?
sukar: one sugar doll is talking to another one.

Can the learned bhagavathas explain this? I believe there was a
quite a bit of time gap between ramavatharam & krishnavatharam. If sukar was
living in Ramayana era then why didnt he or sage vyasa write ramayanam? or
do we have any such record, but we dont have the kavyam?

Please pardon me if my doubts are silly.

adiyen,
ranga dasan,
Anand.
