Dear Bhagavatottamas,

When adiyen went to thinnanur in sept 99, he was shocked to learn that the Thirumadapalli kainkaryaparas of the temple were paid only 180 rs pm.
Recently adiyen went to Kanchi and visited Perumal koil, thiruvelukkai and ThirutthaNgaa. adiyen was once again shocked to learn that the Bhattars in deepa prakasar koil are paid only 120 rs. pm by the authorities. These wages are ridiculously and humiliatingly low. Andhra is much better. there the priests are paid in the range of 1500-3000 rs pm. when will we get good days?
