AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM : Description of Content : Part 1

Dear BhakthAs :

Few days ago , adiyEn announced the completion
of the task of creating the master disc of 
the AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM .

The disc holding a treasure house 
of most valuable , authentic and rare 
assembly of information is on its way 
to USA for reproduction . 

Sri Ahobila Matam of North America is
sponsoring this project as its Kaimkaryam to pay 
homage to Sri Bhagavath RaamAnuja SiddhAntham ,
which is the underpinning of all branches
of Sri VaishNavam .The revered Jeeyar of Ahobila 
Matam has reviewed the earlier version of the CD ROM
and most recently has blessed us all with his
anugraha BhAshaNam .

All of those who supported this project earlier
will get a copy of this CD ROM to treasure and
to use as a reference material. 

Although the conceptualization and visualization of 
this CD ROM came from here , the execution of the task 
fell on the shoulders of a very talented group of 
computer graphics artists, karnatic musicians ,
Sanskrit and Tamil Scholars from India .At the front
of this group has been the young scholar , Dr.M.Alwar
of Melkote , who recently earned his Ph.D degree 
from Sri VenakatEsvarA university in the tough 
subject of NyAyam . It is our good fortune that 
Dr.Alwar has also mastered the powerful
Multimedia technology and putting it to use 
to create CD ROMs glorifying our timeless 
sampradhAyam in an effort to reach out to the children 
and adults .He has put his knowledge
of both Sri Bahgavadh RaamAnuja SiddhAntham and 
modern multimedia technology to use and has placed
the fruit of these efforts at the lotus feet of 
Sriman NaarAyaNA .

Of all the Eisvaryams that adiyEn has been blessed with , 
this Kaimkarya Eisvaryam of being part of 
the creation of the CD ROM on AchArya RaamAnujA 
is the most cherished one .

In the companion posting , adiyEn will summarize 
the highlights of this CD ROM on AchArya RaamAnuja 
and hope to place this precious and pioneering CD ROM
in your hands as soon as a cost-effective copying
vendor is identified .   

After the reproduction and distribution
of the AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM , adiyEn
hopes to have the further BhAgyam of working 
on three more companion CD ROMS in partnership
with Sriman Alwar , Sriman Dileepan and all 
of You .With the divya dampathi's blessings
we would like to seek your participation and 
support in the creation of the following three CD ROMS :
   
(1) Swami Desikan"s Life and Contributions
(2) Life and Contributions of AzhwArs 
(3) The 108 Sri VaishNavite Divya Desams .

For now , We will focus  on the release of AchArya RaamAnujA 
CD ROM .

There is one item that you could help with
to compliment the generous support that is already 
given by The Ahobila Matam of North America . This 
relates to acquiring license for the authoring tool ,
Macromedia Director Version 6.0 or 7.0 that will 
be needed to complete the work on the above CD ROMS.
We have used Version 6.0 for the AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM
and before we release this CD ROM , we have to acquire 
the license . Once this license is acquired , this software 
can be used for the other CD ROMs in planning as well .
We need a total sum of $1,500 for acquiring this important
license .AdiyEn hopes that you will come forward and
help raise the last segment of these funds to facilitate
the purNAhUthi for this project prior to the distribution
of the PrasAdham .

AdiyEn  will describe the detailed contents of 
the completed AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM in the next 
posting .
