   This  edition is compact (single volume & easy to carry)  , hard bound
& good in terms of the splitting up of padams for easy recitation . No
typos,  has very brief info about all AzhvArs in the beginning of the book
, all taniyans are there but without the mention of authors , no mention
of meter/rAgA/tAlam ,  one aDi lines etc are proper as far as adiyen
knows, good readability , has Index , but no info on 108 Divya Desams.

  But , this edition also has brief info on Bhagavad RAmAnujA & SwAmi
Desikan & also Desika Prabandhams - Adaikkala Paththu , aththigiri
mahAtmyam , adhikAra sangraham , prabandasAram followed  by PiLLai
andAdhI. It also has yeal sAthU , vAzhith thirunAmam  of  all AzhvArs &
other selected AchAryAs .

  Basically , Prabandham classes are run in our house & this edition is
used & liked by many ( like a prescribed text book ) . adiyen also uses
this edition . The cost is only Rs.90/-.

  The other book is that from LIFCO . It is more bulkier than the
previous. padam splittings are not as effecient as the previous one =>
difficult to recite for esp. beginners ( practical experience of many
).But this carries taniyan info & rAga/metre/tALA info .
