Dear Rangarajan -

In the attempt to correct Sri SrinAtH's misrepresentation,
I seem to have caused one of my own :-) 

You are right in pointing out that all the alvars
were Sri Vaishnavas. Give the fact that they are
all in fact Ayudham and Abharanam of Sriman Narayana,
and have sung hymns exclusively about Tirumal, this
becomes a "no brainer".
