Dear Bhagavathaas:

The following is part of an appeal I received yesterday
from Sri. Krishnamachari of Ahobilam.  The appeal also
included a Sri Mukham from HH the Jeeyar giving permission
for raising funds.

If you are interested in contributing to this cause, please
make your check out to Sri Ahobila Muth and send it to
1908 Preswood Dr., Hixson, TN 37343.  We will consolidate
the contributions and send it over as a single check.
We will mail our receipt immediately.  Receipt from Ahobilam
will be mailed to you as soon they are received.

Please e-mail  your pledge within a week so that I can
keep track of the contributions as they come in.

Asthikas, might be aware how the above
mentioned illustration reveals the greatness
of the Ahobila Kshethram and the feeding of
devotees here.  The greatness is explained,
in such a manner that even feeding lakhs of
people other Kshethrams is nothing before Sri
Ahobila Kshethra where a handful of rice is
offered to a single person.

One will feel what is said in the
illustration is quite true if he happens to
witness the feeding of pilgrims as well as
the poor by several Annasathrams during the
festival here.

Inspite of all these Annsathrams there is no
arrangement for feeding Srivaishnavas who
attend the festival in multitude from several
corners.  So, enormous funds of the Mutt
which are intended for the betterment of the
Mutt is spent for the purpose.

Hence I profoundly request you, Asthika
gentlemen, to come forward to extend your
helping hand in such a way that during this
year feeding may be conducted exclusively out
of the donations of sishyas and thus make the
feeding a grand success.

For all the donations SRI AHOBILA MUTT'S
HAMSA MUDHRA RECEIPTS will be given.

Srimad Azhagiyasingar stay at Ahabilam  from
25.02.1998 to 25.03.1998 Panguni 11 Wednesday.
