Dear Sri vaishnava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post we will see the naamaas of SVSN, having the common thread of the samskrith letter "ga" meaning- going, moving, reaching to, staying, being" etc leading to words like "gathi" which again mean gait, motion, scope, refuge, goal, a stage of life, fate, condition. Also maargam, patham - a way, route or path.

1.	Om mumkthaanaam paramaa gathayE nama: -- naamaa no. 12 occurring in slOkam 2
	Meaning: - the final goal that is reached by liberated souls.
	- He who is the supreme goal for the emancipated souls.

2.	Om sathaam gathayE nama: -- naamaa no. 186 occurring in slOkam 20
	Meaning: the refuge for pious - final goal for the spiritual seekers.
	Also naamaa no. 451 occurring in slOkam 48
	Meaning: the goal of the pious. The path and the goal of pious.

3.	Om gathi sath thamaaya nama: -- naamaa no.571 occurring in slOkam 60
	Meaning: - he who shows the best and righteous path. 
	- The best destination and at once the noblest path.

4.	Om sath gathayE nama: -- naamaa no. 704 occurring in slOkam 75
	Meaning: the protector of good people 
	- goal of good and noble seekers, naaraayaNaa is the goal to be reached by all good people.

5.	Om chathu: gathayE nama:  -- naamaa no. 774 occurring in slokam 82 
	meaning: who is in the form of four prospects [ purushaartha]  goal of all four varnaas and the four ways of life.

6.	Om vihaayasa gathayE nama: -- naamaa no. 880 occurring in slOkam 94
	Meaning: he who himself is the means for attainment of the supreme abode.
	One who moves in space, having the nature of sun the soorya naaraayaNa.

7.	Om sath patha aachaaraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 955 occurring in slOkam 102
Meaning: he who induces all to move in righteous path 
	one who walks the path of truth.

8.	Om gnaana gamyaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 499  occurring in slOkam 53
	Meaning: he who is to be reached or realized by knowledge and knowledge alone. 

9.	Om dhurgamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 784 occurring in slOkam 83
	Meaning: he who can not be reached so easily
	- one who is realised with great difficulty.

10.	Om maargaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 366 occurring in slOkam 40
	Meaning: he who is always sought after by his devotees.

	For Sri sankara - also naamaa 397 occurring in slOkam 43
	Meaning: the path - he is one whom seekers of the highest meditate upon in order to reach the supreme- there is no other way to reach him.

11.	Om virajO maargaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 398 occurring in slOkam 43
	Meaning: whose route is faultless. 
	[since this naamaa is not separately numbered as 398 by Sri bhattar the naamaa is treated as combined with previous viraja and treated as virajOmaarga: - in the commentary this naamaa is treated as viratha and commented upon, and then combined with naamaa maarga. combinedly the meaning is given as "he is one whom seekers of the highest meditate upon in order to reach the supreme".]

12.	Om sarvagaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 123 occurring in slOkam 14
	Meaning: one who has gone everywhere- he who reaches all.

13.	Om vEgavathE nama: -- naamaa no. 373 occurring in slOkam 40
Meaning: - one who is swift in all his activities 
- one who is fastest in reaching the devotee.
