SrI:

Dear Smt KalyANi Krishnamachari,

The little that I know:

1. We should not offer in the same vessel in whcih we cooked the food.
2. We should not offer steaming hot, as it would burn num perumAL's tongue. It
should be warm enought to be tasteful forthe Lord.
3. We should offer as if we offer the king who has visited our home with all his
battalion. (means with respect, love maryAdhai and also offer to the entire
parivAr)

Offer with love (not as yet another ritual).

GItAchARyan says :
""Whoever offers me with loving devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or even
water, I enjoy this offering made with devotion by him who is pure-minded"
(pathram pushpam phalam thOyam..")
