thirup pAvai - part 59 - "udaiyavaNE tharuvAn, kattAyam tharuvAn"

Dear bAgawathAs,

The word nArAyaNaNE at the beginning with an EkAram
when combined gives meaning that avanE tharuvAn, ie the Lord
will HIMself give us the palans of this nOnbu. We donot have
to remind HIM. prapatthi yAvathu oruvan prapatthi seythu
vittEn eNRa ennatthiayum vittu vidugai. This is an allusion
to the final phase of prapatti known as "Athma samarppanam".
As put by 45 th Jeer, one has to do the Athma samarpanam
by way of saranagathi. Doing other kaimkaryams is like
giving perks to someone when we have not repaid our main
loan. ie., The Athman or our soul belongs to HIM. We have
borrowed it and are enjoying it. We have to surrender it
prior to doing any kaimkaryam for such kaimkaryam to be
meaningful.

Sri Utthamoor Swami narrates in his vyAkyAnam the
Lord's swayam nature as the implied meaning for tharuvAn. It
is said that the Lord will feel that 'We are supposed to
have given them the blessings even prior to their asking.
It is our bound duty to protect our belonging. We have
unnecessarily delayed and waited untill they ask.
We should not have waited so long. We must now rush and make
up for all". Thus by feeling so, it seems Lord will feel
like fish our of water with a "thavippu" and will give the
palan ATONCE. HE has the natural instinct and HIS own
responsibility or bAram in HIM as HIS innate quality.

tharuvAn also means that we cannot do any kaimkaryam
and that HE has to give us. No sincere sishyAL will ask to a
leader that he ort she wants to do this or that. They will
wait for their boss to delegate certain task to them.
Waiting for such an order from the chief denotes the
complete obedience as kinkarAL or kaimkarya barAL. Sri
Srinivasa iyengar quotes that It seems ilaya perumAL used to
tell "kriyAthAmithi mAm vatha" ie., Do this and do that and
do such and such. It seems IlayaperumAl awaits the command
of is elder brother and Lord Sri Rama all the time to
execute such. HSri Srinivasa iyengar also has quoted from
our AzhwAr as "Eva maRRamara'AtseyvAr". That is, HE will
command us and will rule us.
