I read with great interest the three letters posted about srirangam . i was
born in srirangam though did not live there except for 2 years after my
marriage. I did visit my grandparents every summer in my childhood and went
to temple everyday with them and so learnt about the all the sannidhis and
the little stories about them. most interesting is the statue of the visitors
who wanted to reach srirangm in time to enter the swargavasal but did not,
and the lord made them into statues so that thye can enter the vasal the next
year, it is still there in the pragaram.I would like to post the following
stotram my grandmother taught me to say before i went to sleep everyday.it is
supposed to help one have a dreamless sleep. [it does not work for me]
