Dear Devotees,

This article reminds me of some of  His devotees who have different reasons 
behind bhakti.  But of all, I take Kunti as a role model - who, 
wholethrough the life was put to lot of difficulty and had suffered the 
most.  However, being a staunch devotee, she always reminds her sons of the 
glory of God, the very reason being the success of her sons.  For herself, 
she always found to pray  God to bless herself with more sorrows and 
difficulties so that she will always be in touch with Him, as the scholars 
say, difficulties are the language / communication that He sends us to wake 
us up that there is something beyond our body, mind & intellect.

Infact, after the Kurukshetra war, Kunti is the only one among many in p  
andavas clan, who, upon realising that Lord is about to leave Hasthinapura, 
reminds everybody the deeds of Lord Krishna eversince pandavas born, and 
she praises Him to no end (In Srimadbhagavatha this was depicted well). 
 Whoever heard Kunti's words in this situation, be it Arjuna, Bhima or 
anyone in Hasthinapura, their ego will vanish.

I think some of the noble souls other than Kunti are Uddhava (Vasu reborn; 
only the chosen Yadava, by Lord himself, to propagate bhakti at the end of 
Dwapara Yuga; also, one who was engaged in giving us Uddhava Geeta), 
 Bhishma(again Vasu in his previous life; and who was the luckiest and 
blessed of all human beings, having chanted vishnusahasranama in front of 
Lord Krishna), Vidura (Yama reborn; Lord was more concerned about this 
noble soul in the company of Dhrutharastra and his sons).

I would welcome more insight about his devotees from this august gathering.
